CCR combined the IFTAR feast with an entertaining evening for children
On August the 10th, at 5pm, at the initiative of Mr. Ray Taheri, lecturer at the University of British Columbia, and with the support of CCR, it was organized an entertaining evening for children with a diversified program. Mr. Taheri originates from Iran, the fact that do not allow him to be indifferent to refugees, many of whom are also coming from the Eastern countries.
Due to the fact that it was the month of Ramadan, CCR decided to combine the evening with the celebration of IFTAR, which refers to the evening meal when Muslims are breaking their fast during the Ramadan, i.e. the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.
