Visit of the Ambassador of Sweden in Moldova to the Charity Center for Refugees

The Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) received a special visit from the Ambassador of Sweden in Moldova, H. E. Mrs. Ingrid Tersman, and the second secretary of the Embassy of Sweden, Ms. Månstråle Dahlström, in the end of April. They had the opportunity to see CCR office and to know more about the services CCR is providing, as well as about the activities carried out by the Center on its premises and not only. The ambassador was very curious to understand which challenges and problems are the most important for the refugees and asylum seekers residing in the Republic of Moldova. The head of the UNHCR National Office, Mr. Octavian Mohorea, together with the CCR coordinator answered her multiple questions and discussed various issues concerning the refugees and asylum seekers. At the end of the discussion, CCR coordinator expressed his gratefulness for the interest of the Ambassador in the CCR’s activities and in the refugees’ and asylum seekers’ lives in Moldova.

Afterwards, in accordance with the schedule of the visit, Her Excellency was accompanied to the "Ion Creanga" Pedagogical University, where UNHCR, in the framework of its collaboration with the mentioned university, organizes the State language courses. There she could observe the conditions in which the refugees and asylum seekers study the language, while availing herself the opportunity to also talk to some of the students in the classroom. After this, she visited the Portavita company, where some of the refugees and asylum seekers are currently working.

The interest in CCR and its beneficiaries shown by such important figures as the current Ambassador of Sweden in Moldova is crucial for the local integration of refugees and asylum seekers. This kind of support would help CCR to raise more awareness about the needs of its persons of concern and to open new doors for new opportunities, new collaborations and new friends for the organization itself and the people it represents.

Vizita Ambasadoarei Suediei în Moldova la Centrul de Caritate pentru Refugiaţi  

Centrul de Caritate pentru Refugiaţi (CCR) a fost vizitat la sfîrşitul lunii aprilie de către Ambasadoarea Suediei în Republica Moldova, E. S. dna Ingrid Tersman, şi secretara de rangul II a Ambasadei Suediei, dra Månstråle Dahlström. Cu această ocazie, ele au avut şansa să vadă biroul CCR şi să afle mai mult despre serviciile prestate de CCR, dar şi despre activităţile realizate în sediul său şi în afara lui. Excelenţa Sa a fost foarte curioasă să înţeleagă care sunt cele mai majore dificultăţi şi provocări întîmpinate de refugiaţii şi solicitanţii de azil din Moldova. Dl Octavian Mohorea, şef al Biroului Naţional a UNHCR, împreună cu coordinatorul CCR au răspuns la numeroasele întrebări puse de dna Tersman şi au discutat pe diverse subiecte legate de refugiaţi şi solicitanţii de azil. La sfîrşit, coordonatorul CCR şi-a exprimat gratitudinea către doamna ambasador pentru interesul său în activităţile CCR şi în vieţile refugiaţilor şi solicitanţilor de azil din Moldova.

Urmînd planul vizitei, Excelenţa Sa s-a deplasat apoi la Universitatea Pedagogică “Ion Creangă”, unde UNHCR, în colaborare cu universitatea mentionată, organizează cursurile de studiere a limbii de stat. Acolo Ambasoarea Suediei a putut observa în ce condiţii beneficiarii CCR studiază, precum şi a putut vorbi cu cîţiva elevi din clasă. Ulterior a urmat o vizită la compania Portavita unde în prezent muncesc o parte din refugiaţi şi solicitanţi de azil.

Interesul în CCR şi beneficiarii săi din partea unor personalităţi atît de importante precum este Ambasadoarea Suediei este crucial pentru integrarea locală a refugiaţilor şi solicitanţilor de azil. O astfel de susţinere ar putea ajuta CCR la creşterea gradului de informare în ceea ce priveşte nevoile beneficiarilor săi, dar şi la deschiderea unor noi uşi către noi şanse, noi colaborări şi noi prieteni pentru organizaţie şi pentru oamenii pe care îi reprezintă.

Визит госпожи посла Швеции в Молдове

В конце апреля, Центр Милосердия для Беженцев (ЦМБ) был посещён послом Швеции в Молдове, госпожой Ингрид Терсман, и вторым секретарём Посольства Швеции, госпожой Манстрале Далстром. По этому случаю, они смогли увидеть офис ЦМБ и узнать побольше о услугах предоставляемых ЦМБ, а также о деятельности которой ЦМБ осуществляет в своём офисе и за его пределами. Госпожа посол поинтересовалась о самых главных сложностях и проблемах с которыми сталкиваются беженцы и просители убежища проживающие в Молдове. Господин Октавьян Мохоря, глава офиса УВКБ в Молдове, вместе с координатором ЦМБ ответили на её многочисленные вопросы и обсудили разные темы связанные с беженцами и просителями убежища. В заключении обсуждения, координатор ЦМБ выразил госпоже послу Швеции свою благодарность за её интерес к деятельности ЦМБ и к жизни беженцев и просителей убежища из Молдовы.

В соответствии с планом визита, госпожа посол затем посетила Педагогический Университет имени Иона Крянгэ, где УВКБ ООН, в рамках сотрудничества с данным университетом, организует курсы изучения государственного языка. Там она смогла увидеть в каких условиях проходят указанные курсы, а также она имела возможность поговорить с некоторыми студентами из класса. Затем последовало посещение фирмы Портавита, в которой, на данный момент, работают часть беженцев и просителей убежища.

Такой интерес к ЦМБ и его бенефициарах со стороны значимых персон как Посол Швеции в Молдове имеет ключевую важность для местной интеграции беженцев и просителей убежища. Их поддержка смогла бы помочь ЦМБ не только в повышении осведомлённости о нуждах своих бенефициаров, но и для того чтобы для ЦМБ и его бенефициаров расскрылись новые двери к новым возможностям, новым сотрудничествам и новым друзьям.
